The brief
Studio Aran came to Tan Photography needing product shots for their spring/summer 2026 collection launch. What started as a straightforward e-commerce request turned into something bigger once we saw the collection in person.
Building the concept
Rather than flat product shots against white, we built a mood board around natural fabric movement and directional studio light — treating each garment more like an editorial subject than a catalog item.
The shoot day
One studio day, two models, four lighting setups. We shot tethered so the Studio Aran team could review compositions in real time and adjust on the spot rather than waiting for a delivered gallery to spot issues.
What it became
The final gallery didn't just cover the product pages — Studio Aran ended up using the same images across their Instagram, email campaigns, and in-store displays for the following year, which is the kind of outcome we plan for from the first mood board.
